Happy Mother’s Day!

 

On Mother’s Day at New Solid Rock Fellowship Church in Randallstown, Maryland, a profound message was delivered by Pastor Brenda Sewell so appropriately entitled:  “Mark Your Children”.

 

 Pastor had the congregation reference God’s Word to support her 7 critical points emphasized as necessary to mark our children for God’s purpose. She focused on the importance of instilling the faith, trust, love of God that matures us into responsible Christians willing to serve God through loving and serving His people.

 As she delivered the message God had given her, the congregation was singing   and dancing for God to whom was given the highest praises.  It was an awesome manifestation of God’s glory in the place!

  Pastor Brenda offered an anchor scripture for her sermon which is found in Proverbs 22:6

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”  (KJ)

“Train children how to live right, and when they are old, they will not change. “ (NCV).

She also emphasized, through the scripture below from Revelation that God places His “Permanent mark” upon those who love him …..

Rev 7: 3: “ He said to them, “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we mark with a sign the foreheads of the people who serve our God”….(NCV)

 

In closing, she reminded us that we as Godly Mothers ( and Fathers)  must do our part in rearing God’s children  making them accessible for God’s purposes.

7. Love them Unconditionally:           Don’t  hurt them spiritually	Proverbs 15:25
